Homestead MoneyMakers is an easy way to make money with your Homestead Web site Just put a MoneyMakers Element on your page - your choices include Reel.com, Fogdog Sports, and others. Any time a visitor to your site clicks on the element and makes a purchase, you'll earn a commission. To join the MoneyMakers Program, you simply place a MoneyMakers Element - located in Homestead SiteBuilder - on your page. You'll fill out a brief form (so that we know where to send your check) and then you'll be ready to start earning money right away! How do I earn my commission? You'll get paid for every purchase made through MoneyMakers Elements on your site, even for your own purchases! Each MoneyMakers Element on your site has a unique code that identifies you. When someone clicks on that Element and buys something from the merchant, your account gets credited automatically. We keep track of everything for you, so that you can spend your energy getting visitors to your site! How much commission can I earn? The amount of commission that you'll earn for each purchase varies. In most cases, you'll earn approximately 5% of the purchase price - however, some MoneyMakers Elements let you earn much more. Check the description of each merchant's offering to find out exactly how much commission they will pay you. There is no limit to how much money you can earn using the MoneyMakers program. However, we do need to file with the IRS if you earn over $600 during a calendar year. Therefore, we ask that once you earn $500, you send us your social security number. That way, we'll be able to continue sending you your checks when you cross the $600 mark. How and when will I get paid? You will receive a check payable in U.S. dollars. Checks will be mailed four times a year: in May, August, November, and February. For example, commission earned from January through March will be paid in May, and money earned from April through June will be paid in August. If you have earned a minimum of $25 in commissions, you will receive a check for that quarter. If your total is less than $25, it will carry over into the next pay period until it reaches $25 and we send you your check. How do I check on my earnings? Check the Homestead MoneyMakers section when you log in. Your commission reports are available at all times, and are updated once a week. Will I receive separate checks for each MoneyMakers Element I use? No. We make it easy by sending you one check containing all your earnings for each Homestead Web site. You can find out which Elements are making the most money for you by logging in and checking your commission reports, located in the MoneyMakers section. |
